The market ended the week slightly below the prior close, though year-to-date gains remain a strong 12%. Midweek trading showed signs of weakness as the market failed to sustain its highs. More concerning, the S&P 500 slipped beneath its October low of 6,552, closing Thursday at 6,538. This breakdown created a lower-low pattern, reinforcing a bearish signal.
