The market fought off a volatile week but ended on the week up slightly higher. Gold and silver surged to multi-year highs as investors fled risk assets, while tech stocks-especially Intel-dragged the market lower. On January 5, 2025, we said the following:
“With the above in mind, we see this is as a great opportunity to start your fundamental research and see if Dollar General should be part of your portfolio.”
Since that time, we’ve seen the following performance:
At the current levels, Dollar General is not a consideration for potential purchase. We hope to inform of when our indicators suggest reviewing the company again.
